Housed in the beautiful, Mine Manager's House, Hoover House Bed and Breakfast offers three stunning period rooms.
Hoover House is fully air-conditioned. Each of the rooms has French doors opening onto the sweeping vernadahs that provide views of the stunning Northern Goldfields desert.
Guests enjoy free entry to Gwalia Museum. BBQ facilities are available and we also cater for meetings and functions.

The Fine Print
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Rooms
All rooms at Hoover House Bed & Breakfast are non-smoking. The Gold Room and the Blue Room each have an ensuite bathroom provided in the guest room. The bathroom facility for the Maroon Room is located adjacent to the kitchen facilities.
Check-in
Our standard check-in time is from 2:00pm from our reception area located at the entrance to the museum precinct. Should you arrive before that time we welcome you to spend some time exploring the historical features throughout the precinct, including the historical cottages, museum and viewing of Gwalia Mine. Our office is open until 4.00pm daily. Please advise if you are arriving after this time and we will advise alternative check-in arrangements.
Check-out
As Hoover House is open to the public as a tourist attraction, check-out is strictly 9:30am upon which time the main ‘residence’ will be open for public viewing.
Parking Car parking is available on site. As parking is limited, please advise if you require parking for a larger vehicle or caravan.
Cancellation - Modification Policy
We must be notified of cancellations and or changes at least 24 hours prior to arrival date or affected date (at 14:00 local time). Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice or a no show will incur a fee equal to one night's room rate.
Bookings made via travel Agents or other third parties (i.e. bookings other than direct to Hoover House Bed & Breakfast by telephone or e-mail) may have different terms and conditions. Changes and or cancellations should be directed to the company, travel agent, or third party where you made your original booking.
No-show A no-show without any prior notification will incur one night’s charge.
Credit Card Surcharge
A standard merchant service fee may apply to all credit card transactions on the total amount payable: Visa and MasterCard – 1.1%

Driving and Weather Conditions
During and after wet weather events, roads approaching the Shire may be closed due to flooding or damage. Stay informed on road closures and weather conditions through the Shire’s website, www.leonora.wa.gov.au or www.mainroads.wa.gov.au
Hoover House Bed & Breakfast is a major tourist attraction in the Gwalia ghost town & museum precinct. Further information on the precinct can be found at www.gwalia.org.au as well as information on the self-guided tour through the Gwalia Interactive Map.
The Shire of Leonora hosts an array of attractions including the Leonora Loop Trails, the Leonora Heritage Trail, and a host of geocaching sites reaching up to Leinster. We would be delighted to provide you with further information on sites throughout the Shire. Alternatively, start your excursion at the Information Centre located on Tower Street, Leonora where our friendly staff will provide you with visitor information on the Shire and surrounding areas.
